I have loved football since my dad took me to my first game aged 6. I played at primary school but from secondary onwards there was no opportunity for girls / ladies to play.
I played 5-a-side for a short period when there was a Ladies League in Perth but only returned to playing when my friend encouraged me to join her at the first Walking Football session at Saints in the Community. Now play two or three times a week either ladies or mixed sessions. My fitness has improved - made new friends - get to play the sport I love - and most of all it’s fun.
