The first Women's Walking Football Challenge took place in Perth. Our PLU lassies played for Jeanfield Swifts against Braehead & Midlothian Ladies.
Lousie, our goalie put on a terrific display with one save in particular, simply world-class! :-) Michelle, player of the tournament with 4 goals (ok one disputed for running!) and a fantactic effort from the rest of the squad. The PLU women pulled resouces to clean and cater for the teams and by all accounts the food and drink went down well. A great day, one of many going forward, a key moment in the progression of the women's game in Scotland. Well down to all that took part including Lesley for organising who unfortunately couldn't make it on the day.
